Does Baltimore, MD have resiprocity with the State of Virginia?

I REC'D A PARKING TICKET IN A RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOOD AT NIGHT IN DOWNTOWN BALTIMORE (NEAR THE INNER HARBOR) "NO PARKING SIGNS" NOT VISIBLE. CAN BALTIMORE AFFECT ME IN VA IF I CHOOSE NOT TO PAY OR IS IT NOT WORTH THEIR TIME. I'M SURE IF I WENT BACK AND GOT IN TROUBLE, I'D HAVE HELL TO PAY....WILLING TO TAKE THE CHANCE!Does Baltimore, MD have resiprocity with the State of Virginia?
Almost guaranteed. Neighboring states always have reciprocal agreements regarding driving offenses. I assume unpaid parking tickets will get you too. I got a speeding ticket in SC and though I am a Florida resident they notified the DMV in Tallahassee and my insurance company found out about it. What you should have done was taken pictures (always keep a disposable camera in your glovebox in case of accidents or issues like this) of the area, took some notes of your location, date, and time. Then it would have been easy to contact the Clerk of the Court in Baltimore and in lots of states you can fight a ticket via letter/affadavit in lieu of a physical appearance. The laws vary but I can tell you this much... if the City of Baltimore contacts the VA DMV you will know about it. Chances are you could end up in the local lockup should you get pulled over in VA and they run your license. The State of RI sent me a 5 year old parking violation via a "collection agency". So yes... they have plenty of time to try to collect debts. All they have to do is send a copy to the DMV in VA via email or just input it into the computer.Does Baltimore, MD have resiprocity with the State of Virginia?
keep in mind that baltimore is in maryland and if you're in the dc area, you'll be crossing back and forth all the time. Easier to dispute it. Baltimore is so back logged that most times, they dismiss instead of pursueDoes Baltimore, MD have resiprocity with the State of Virginia?
Yes they have reciprocity in those cases
