I'm a tutor for a inter city Hispanic male, who has only a 5th grade eduction. I would like a list of books that he could read that might be of intrest to him. Also, magazines are good - Time, National Geographic, The Bulletin, etc



Although some of these may come from a childs / teens perspective due to the level of education - a lot of these are universal favourites and classics that appeal to all ages.

He will need to be re-acquainted with reading before he gets into the big stuff. You may want to ask him what his interests are FIRSt before we can suggest books that interest him. It may not matter his race, but his interests.
