Where is a good place to visit (5 hour max...driving)?

My birthday is coming up and I want to take a little road trip. since plane tickets are a little too expensive for this college student i/we will be driving. Im 20 years old and my boyfriend and I like getting away sometimes. We live in Virginia and want to stay around here, but we want to visit somewhere thats exciting and fun and hopefully somewhere neither of us has been. We've been to nags head all over like kitty hawk, avon, corolla etc. myrtle beach all over as well, williamsburg a million times and we just recently went to baltimore to see the inner harbor (amazing!). i've been to nyc and atlantic city when i was younger (would like to go again but i still cant gamble). i would like to go somewhere with a fun night life, attractions (not a lot of museums i would rather wake up n enjoy the nature aspect rather than have to see it in a museum). i've been to pen. but also a long time ago and i went to see the amish lol (high school trip). I like riding in traffic so i dont mind the ride, but i'd like to keep it at about a 5 hour drive give or take a little. p.s.- i have an id that says im a lil older than what i am so i might could get away with somethings...but i think i would get in deep doo doo if i tried to gamble with it so thats probably a negative right? please give me any ideas i want to have a birthday i'll remember forever!Where is a good place to visit (5 hour max...driving)?

How about driving the Blue Ridge parkway from start to finish? There are some really cool places to stay along the way (B and B's, cabins, lodges, etc.) and some incredibly beautiful sights.

Here is some information:

Good luck, have fun, and drive safely!!
