NL West. I am never able to see the NL West games. In Chicago, they start too late so that is the division I know the least about. But we have to play the NL Central this year. What inter-league division do you look forward to watching your team play the most? And why?I cant wait to see the Diamondbacks play the Tigers......What inter-league division do you look forward to watching your team play the most? And why?I guess it would have to be the Subway Series...
The Mets are much improved, especially with Santana as the ace. It is going to be great to see the guy that Yankees so desperately tried to get pitch against them. What inter-league division do you look forward to watching your team play the most? And why?I have to admit that I absolutely hate Interleague play. For every genuine interleague rivalry like Mets-Yankees there are a half-dozen "rivalries" that are either greatly contrived or bizarrely stupid.
Is there any good reason the Braves should have to play Red Sox six times a year? I mean, besides the fact that they shared a hometown half a century ago?
What about Padres-Mariners? Explain that one to me.
Twins-Brewers: I live in the Twin-Cities, so this one really bugs me. The only reason you see all the brewers fans at the metrodome for these games is because of all the Wisconsin reciprocity students at the neighboring University of Minnesota. The fact is that the White Sox are the primary rival of the Minnesota Twins and have been for quite a while now.
Interleague play unbalances the schedule, takes mystique away from the World Series, and homoginizes the two leagues. What inter-league division do you look forward to watching your team play the most? And why?
Well considering that my fav team is the Rangers and I live in the NW, it's hard to watch games other than on TV or MLB. I like the Central only because of the Texas rival.
As for seeing them live up in Seattle, I think it would be great to see the NL East teams. Only because it's further away for those teams to travel therefore interesting to see how they adjust to the conditions.
