How much inter breeding between Polar bears and grizzlies is there.?

Seeing as they came from the same species, is that what they will go back too?How much inter breeding between Polar bears and grizzlies is there.?These two species tend to live in different habitats and also at different latitudes. However, there is a small overlap of the species' ranges.

Wiki has an article on a Grizzly-Polar Bear hybrid. Here is an extract...

A Grizzly鈥損olar bear hybrid (also Pizzly bear, Prizzly bear or Grolar bear[1][2]) is a rare ursid hybrid that has occurred both in captivity and in the wild. In 2006, the occurrence of this hybrid in nature was confirmed by testing the DNA of a strange-looking bear that had been shot on Banks Island in the Canadian arctic.

It is clearly rare but it does happen.

However, it is extremely unlikely to cause the two species to converge. How much inter breeding between Polar bears and grizzlies is there.?The only known Grizzly/Polar Bear mix has been documented only in two occurrences in the wild. One is stuffed and is in a Russian Museum, it clearly looks like a hybrid, with a large thick head, and white fur. But in 2006 a man named Jim Martell Shot a Hybrid, he faced a lot of legal issues, but eventually was vindicated, because it looked so much like a Polar Bear, only clear difference is the ears and brown snout. Pictures Below.

Most Zoologists believe that this only occurs when the Winters are particularly cold, this is due to the fact that male Grizzlies wander while females are mothering, same goes for Polar Bears, but Polar Bears need cold to live in a habitat. How much inter breeding between Polar bears and grizzlies is there.?They breed when the cohabitate an area. Their offspring are viable. The offspring are capable of breeding and producing more young. The problem is the habitat and their food training. As the polar caps recede and the Grizzly habitat moves Northward they have found more and more genetic crosses. The mother bear teaches the offspring to forage. There were some pathetic films on television that showed the difficulty they were having. The mother polar bear and her young were starving. They watched the grizzlies tearing apart logs etc and eating the insects. The polar bear and her mixed cub went over later and didn't know what to do with torn apart log. They went hungry. The Polar bears didn't know how to fish the streams, they were never taught. It will be the offspring of Grizzly sows that have the best chance to survive. Because of the shrinking habitat and learning curve of surviving in the new environment the Polar bears future looks pretty bleak. Some of the Polar bear strain will be left in the Grizzly population but as polar bears they will soon become extinct as the food for them diminishes and they can't adapt quickly enough to survive..How much inter breeding between Polar bears and grizzlies is there.?
These days Sod all, none, Nix,It`s millions of years since they did..but what a fantastic idea, to get a Kodiak to mate with a Polar...as the icecap in the Arctic melts...you might have just stumbled on a way to keep the gene pool going

Do you think a dark brown bear would mind mating with a blonde and would the blonde mind? (the mind boggles... if you catch my inference.....
