Family visiting Maryland for a week?

I moved to Maryland and haven't seen my family in a year. They're coming to visit in 10 days and will be here for a week. I'm trying to make a sort of agenda for everyone during their visit...particularly involving Maryland History. I'd like some input and ideas from anyone with any insight. (Besides going to DC to see the museums and monuments and the Inner Harbor in Baltimore)Family visiting Maryland for a week?
If your family is into sports, the Babe Ruth museum is downtown, and an Orioles game is always fun. Expensive, but a great time.

Edgar Allan Poe's grave is downtown as well and you can also tour the church next to it which has some really cool catacombs.

Annapolis is great too. You can tour the state house as well as visit the shops and great restaurants near the water.

The National Museum of Civil War Museum is in Frederick and is pretty cool.

Also a trip to Gettysburg, Pa is a lot of fun. It is a little over an hour from Baltimore, and a great day trip.

We are going out to Cascade Lake in Carroll County next week and it is also a really fun time for swimming and picnics.

Harper's Ferry is really interesting as is Ellicott City.

The websites below offer some really interesting things to do. The first one has an events page and you can find things going on that are close to you. The second is for all sorts of historical museums for Maryland. The last one is just for the Baltimore Area. Click on the visitor's tab at the top of the page. A directory, in alphabetical order, is to the left of the visitor's page.

I hope your family enjoys their time here. I have lived here for a little over 10 years and just love it.Family visiting Maryland for a week?
St. Mary's City is fun. Maybe and Orioles game or the aquarium. Or there's Fort McHenry and Mt Vernon, George Washington's home.Family visiting Maryland for a week?
