Would you recommend buying a inter-cooler for the PS3?

Im getting a PS3 slim today, And was just wondering how the performance is with and with out the inter-cooler.

And if it is something i should invest in.Would you recommend buying a inter-cooler for the PS3?No, they seem to do nothing but cause problems, they are a bad idea.

Just place your PS3 in a well ventilated area with plenty of space around it, and regularly wipe the dust away from it, it has a perfectly good fan of it's own that can do the rest, inter-coolers just interfere with the PS3 fan's function, and can cause damage.

You can very gently vacume it's vents with a LOW powered or mini vacume, about once a fortnight or monthly, just to keep the dust from building up.

You don't need to do anything else at all:)Would you recommend buying a inter-cooler for the PS3?
You don't need it, PS3 can run for hours, I had my PS3 on for 8 hours straight.

Save the money, the PS3 doesn't really have overheating problems, like the 360 does.

You will be fine, the Slim has new fixes to against past errors.

If you would like to spend some money on the PS3 slim, then A mic to talk online would be good? Upgrade Hardrive, if you think 120GB is to little.Would you recommend buying a inter-cooler for the PS3?ps3 does not really overheat...everWould you recommend buying a inter-cooler for the PS3?
the intercooler is totally a waste of money the ps3 doesnt need it and i doubt the new slim will have any type of cooling issueWould you recommend buying a inter-cooler for the PS3?ps3 doesn't have overheating issues like the xbox 360 has so buying an intercooler will be pointless.also it voids your warranty cuz intercoolers were proven that they can break systems faster sometimes.ex)the system fan is turning left while the intercooler fan turns right.this messes the system upWould you recommend buying a inter-cooler for the PS3?
No, I have left my original ps3 on for 8 days and it works exactle the same as the first day. They possibly messed up the slim version, but Sony is pretty reliable(Just Expensive)
